  • “Den Nordiske Dieta med Mighty Tree er en af de mest transformative oplevelser jeg har haft. Birk er en kærlig, rå og  kontant læremester, der udfordrede mig til at dykke dybt. Det var essentielt for min proces, at opleve mig støttet på vejen med både forberedende online-møder og sessioner og især undervejs i dietaen. Jeg er fx ikke naturligt outdoor-typen, så for mig var det allerede et stort skridt bare at skulle bo i egen camp i den svenske skov i to uger, afskåret fra hverdagens støj og normale håndteringsstrategier… Jeg oplevede at den lille gruppe gjorde det muligt at kunne få personlig guiding af to, som selv har gået vejen med planterne og som også bevarer en sensitivitet for det unikke i hver persons rejse med planterne. Det var afgørende at kunne spørge om råd og blive spejlet for at jeg turde blive ved at gå dybere og stole på processen. Eva og Stephan komplimenterer hinanden rigtig godt, og de har en styrke i netop deres forskellige forcer i både ceremonier, undervisning og i mentoring. Omringet af dyb, stille skov fandt jeg en ro og klarhed, en lytten indad og forbindelse til mig selv og alt omkring mig, som er en embodied oplevelse jeg bær og tager videre. Birk var i den grad en læremester i at slippe gamle mønstre og idéer, der ikke tjener. Særligt gav 1:1-mentoring hver dag med enten Eva eller Stephan mulighed for at få reflekteret og sparret om min dieta-proces, der var langt dybere og mere berigende end jeg kunne drømme om – det er jeg dybt taknemmelig for. Personligt har undervisningen og integrationen efter haft stor værdi. Det er virkelig en test at vende tilbage til hverdagen og integrere indsigterne efter to ugers retræte og indre arbejde. Jeg synes den del er tricky, så støtten efterfølgende med integrationskald og mulighed for at kunne spørge om råd var også vigtig for at dietaen er blevet den del af mig og mit liv.   • “Two weeks in the deep Swedish forest with traditional Peruvian Shipibo-tribe knowledge in combination with good old and solid Scout’s cleverness — a wisdom quest to connect with the Birch tree guided by two natural talents and passionate Nature-explorers. I had the beautiful and demanding experience of a Birch Wisdom Quest arranged and facilitated by Eva and Stephan in August 2020.

    In the forest among irresistibly juicy Blueberry bushes and with the rising sun over the lake to the east, we put up our Camp in which we were going to dive deeply into our own beings the next two weeks…

    Every day we connected to the Birch tree by drinking extracts from the Birch’s root, stem, bark and leaves. Eva gave elaborate classes on the Shipibo language and the multidimensional purpose of the medicine songs called “Icaros,” and she wrote personalized poetic and practical compositions for us to practice. Stephan helped us with his talented craftsmanship to carve our own Birch pipes and collected herbs to mix a tobacco blend for us to smoke.

    I learned a lot about Shipibo those two weeks. Knowledge acquired in the jungle and interpreted by Eva and Stephan by adjusting to the Nordic nature and possibilities.

  • “It can be challenging to know where to start. I didn't quite know what I was getting into, but in some ways, that might have been an advantage.

    I am convinced that my journey began long before I arrived in Sweden. For a long time, I had felt a call to a Dieta, so it was wonderful to be able to go to Sweden and experience it there. At first, I thought I needed to go to the jungle, but suddenly a trip to the forest in Sweden didn't seem so daunting. 😆😆

    However, I became wiser. I feel like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh: when I face something unknown, I'm sure I'll be really good at it. My confidence was at an all-time high, but I was challenged on many levels, and it was an amazing experience. It turned out that there were many layers that gradually unfolded along the way, filled with new insights, understandings, and lessons. At the same time, I realized that the plant spirit I was meant to meet had been keeping an eye on me long before my trip to Sweden. It knew there was something not quite right when I said goodbye, and it informed the facilitators that I needed to go through a special process. Suddenly, my problem was solved, and I could continue my program just like the others. It should be noted that it is still actively helping me, and that is truly amazing.

    Going through such a program has given me a new perspective and an inner peace that I deeply appreciate. I feel a special connection to that plant spirit, and it seems like there is a unique form of communication between us; as if it speaks to me through my body and senses.

    In the near future, I look forward to meeting a new plant spirit. All of this has only been possible thanks to the wonderful people who are skilled at what they do and who have created a space where this is possible.

The noya rao dieta with maestro Don Rono was truly one of the most profound experiences I ever had. Don Rono's camp is held in a very traditional way without any electricity, running water, or showers which creates a perfect place to fully focus on the dieta. The camp is surrounded by a beautiful jungle which is full of life and all the master plants you can diet. Meditating in the dawn and listening to all the birds and jungle sounds of the early morning was a very magical morning routine of mine which I miss a lot.
Don Rono is truly a master of his kind. He is always happy to share his knowledge to explain and translate the icaros and to help each participant in his process. His knowledge about all the different plants, their healing power, and the icaros seems endless and I could not imagine an any better teacher for this journey. During the whole dieta, Don Rono gave classes about the different icaros, their meaning, and how to use them to navigate through the ceremonies in which we had the possibility to practice singing the icaros from the very beginning.
I tried to focus on my own as much as possible during the three weeks of dieta but Eva and Stephan were always there to support me in difficult situations, had answers for arising questions, or helped with simple language difficulties. I’m more than grateful for all their support not only during the dieta but also during the preparation and integration process. As this was the first dieta in my life without any previous experiences of ceremonies with this kind of medicine I was very grateful for all the support I received from Eva and Stephan. I couldn’t imagine a better introduction to this magical world of plant spirits and healing energies and even though everyone is on his own journey during the dieta I felt like having two very wise and experienced guides on my side all the time.
